Montezuma's treasure, a mystery of the west.
In the early years of what is now know as North America, the native people thrived. This story particularly is centered around the Aztec nation, living in todays central Mexico. When the spaniards began to sail across the Atlantic Ocean, they found a vast wealth of gold, stones, and fertile land within the Aztec nation. As word spread, the powerful European nations began to send more and more quests to the new land in attempt to conquer and control the wealth of the area. Seeing this, the Aztec king, Montezuma II thought it wise to preserve the majority of his wealth, and keep it safe from the conquistadores. So here is what happened.

Knowing that the greedy spaniards where coming from the south, Montezuma gathered his and the majority of the Aztecs peoples wealth and headed north. Unfortunately Montezuma had a dilemma.... A large part of the gold found and used for the Aztec nation was discovered in the high Unit mountains. Not wanting to give the location away to the spaniards, Montezuma couldn't go that far north. So he decides to hide his treasure in between the desert of Mexico, and the high land of Utahs Unit Mountains. As the spaniards arrived to find the majority of the Aztec wealth gone, they where outraged and demanded Montezuma to give the location of where he his the nations treasures. To the displeasure of the conquistadores, king Montezuma never shared the information, and took his secrete with him to the grave. The spaniards looked all across western North America for Montezuma's treasure for over 100 years, but never found it.

There are still hints, clues, and signs that point to the location of Montezuma's treasure. Ancient Aztec petroglyphs have mapped the general scenery of southern Utah, claiming the treasure to be hidden there. As word has spread and technology improved, it has been thought that the treasure could be located close to Kanab Utah, and the genera area of southern Utah and northern Arizona. Traces of gold have been discovered under a particular lake near Kanab, yet whenever divers have dove down to discover the gold traces strange occurrences happen. Almost as if there is some sort of protection for the destination.
So now you know that there is treasure somewhere in southern Utah. A huge bounty worth millions all to the individuals that find it. Who knows, maybe you could be the one to crack to code, and discover the undiscoverable mystery.
